WELCOME TO FAISA

The Florida Association of Instructional Supervisors and Administrators (FAISA) was established in 1977 as one of five departments of the Florida Association of School Administrators (FASA). The purpose of FAISA is to advance the professional opportunities of instructional administrators and to provide these professionals with an organized and unified effort to improve the quality of education for all students in Florida.

NCES releases new report on arts education in U.S. public schools   
This Statistical Analysis Report presents selected findings from seven congressionally mandated arts in education surveys. These surveys were designed to provide national estimates of the characteristics of arts education in public K-12 schools for the 2009-10 school year and to allow comparison to selected estimates from an earlier study done in 1999-2000.


2011-2012 Florida Counseling for Future Education Handbook

One valuable resource for counselors is the Florida Counseling for Future Education Handbook. This publication, updated annually, provides a comprehensive reference guide to postsecondary education in Florida. Sections taken directly from the Handbook can be used as handouts at parent meetings, advising sessions, or as supplements to a school’s own curriculum guide.
