LEGISLATIVE LIAISON

FAISA is a strong voice for administrators with the State Legislature, Governor's office, the Department of Education, and other State and Federal agencies.  FAISA members are represented on numerous committees and task forces at local, state, and national levels.  With FAISA's legislative networking, members can influence decisions that directly effect school quality and the professional leadership needs of school administrators.

PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT

FASA's Annual Conference & Exposition  This conference provides new and innovative approaches to enhancing the administrator’s role to advance Florida's public education.  Professional development is offered through concurrent and general sessions with outstanding speakers and practicing educators.  Exhibitors provide first hand knowledge of educational materials and merchandise.

Legislative Days  This two-day conference of legislative briefings, professional collaboration and lobbying Florida's legislature is an annual event.  This intensive conference provides you with current information and valuable contacts.  Get directly involved in the future of your profession.

LEGAL ASSISTANCE

Active members in FAISA/FASA are eligible to request free, limited legal consultation with FAISA/FASA's General Counsel.  This program provides assistance for job-related legal defense. (Restrictions apply; call the FASA office for more information.)
