MESSAGE FROM FASA PRESIDENT, JAYNE ELLSPERMANN This year is an exciting year for FASA. Membership is increasing, we are forging new partnerships while securing our long-standing partnerships, and we are offering more services to our members.Communication is the key to our success and FASA has expanded our services to our members with the addition of Twitter updates and a new look and information in our daily FASA News Tracker. FASA has initiated the coordination of the state event calendars and is publishing a state calendar that is being sent out to our members weekly. The FASA Friday Facts keeps us all up-to-date with what is going on in our state and in our legislature. Professional development is a valuable service we provide to our members and FASA is proud to announce the inclusion of drive-in conferences for the convenience of our members. These one day sessions will be offered at different locations to allow busy administrators the opportunity to go to a conference, meet fellow administrators, gain valuable information and go back to school to put it into practice the next day. March 8-10, 2012 NASSP will hold their national conference in Tampa. Florida administrators will be able to attend at a discounted rate. As we expand to meet the needs of our membership we challenge our members to reach out to other administrators to join FASA. FASA is your professional organization and we want all administrators in Florida to know the value of being a FASA member. FASA is our voice in Tallahassee, FASA provides our members with valuable benefits, FASA gives administrators the opportunity to work together to improve education. Together we will make a difference in our schools, in our communities and in our state.
