MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT
Dear Colleagues, Welcome to the Florida Assistant Principals Association (FAPA). FAPA is the newest formed association under the Florida Association of School Administrators (FASA) umbrella. Assistant Principals are the largest group of administrators in the state and play a vital role in the day to day operations of our school system. It is our goal to support you and help provide you with the tools needed to become the instructional leaders of tomorrow and ultimately into your own Principal’s position. Through our organization and affiliation with FASA we are offered opportunities to strengthen our minds through professional development. We have a chance to share new ideas and best practices by participating in professional networks. FASA gives us a voice in Tallahassee allowing us to participate in legislative decisions and professional issues. Now more than ever we must stand together, united in the fight to protect our future and the future of public education in our state. We must all join together and strengthen our organization. It is important that we keep each other informed and continue to recruit new members. Remember our strength is in our numbers. If you are currently a member I thank you, if not I challenge you to join and see the wonderful benefits of our organization. Thanks for choosing a better tomorrow for public education.
