MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENTHappy 2010-11 school year to our FAPA/FASA members and friends. I am sure we have all been busy opening school and thinking about facing new performance challenges. As president of FAPA, I am committed to helping you meet both school and personal leadership challenges utilizing our many FASA resources. I hope that each of you will consider recruiting a new member, or if not a current member, joining your state professional organization. Yours is the voice of tomorrow for education! Our world of education changes daily we should share ideas and information ongoing. FASA has continued to be a vehicle for our professional development and has provided leadership and service to administrators throughout the years. This is why I chose to not only being a continued member of my local association DASA, and a member of our national organization NASSP, but also a member of our state organization FASA. FASA is our organization, representing all constituent groups. FAPA, the umbrella group for assistant principals, is committed to assist you to meet both school and personal leadership challenges utilizing our many FASA resources. FASA expertise includes professional development resources, legal representation, and a voice to address our governor and legislators as we continue to pursue quality education and quality of leadership life for us all. The upcoming legislative sessions promises to continue to challenge our education system and therefore, we must continue to support all Florida administrators. We must work together; your voice is needed, please join us today and help FAPA be a driving force in FASA, your professional organization. Working together we will be able to provide the necessary presence in Tallahassee to pursue quality education. Have a fantastic school year. I look forward to meeting and working with you. Diana L.
