Organization Overview
JROTC in high school is not a requirement or prerequisite to do college Army ROTC. JROTC is designed to create better citizens, while college SROTC is designed to create Army leaders while students complete a degree at a college of their choice. Army ROTC has 2-,3-, and 4-year scholarships available for current college students and high school seniors to apply for!
Upon graduation, Army ROTC Cadets commission as a 2nd Lieutenant in the United States Army either Active Duty (full-time service) or National Guard/Army Reserves (part-time service). Army 2nd Lieutenants start off at a $70,000 annual salary with full medical, dental, and locality benefits.
Special Offer
Army ROTC has a National Scholarship eligible for high school seniors to compete for in June (summer before their senior year starts) - March( Spring of their senior year) with three board opportunities to possibly receive a 3 or 4 year scholarship in October, January, and March. These scholarships cover full tuition and fees OR $12,000 per year in room and board paid directly to the student, a $420 monthly stipend, and $1,200 per year for books.
