Marion County names new Interim Superintendent

Marion County School Board members are filling the shoes of their outgoing Superintendent, at least for now.

School leaders agreed to appoint Doctor Danielle Brewer as Interim Superintendent, effective this July.

She currently serves the school district as the Senior Executive Director of High Schools and Secondary Curriculum.

Last month, Doctor Diane Gullet announced she is stepping down from the role at the end of this school year.
