Marion County School Board members approve names for 2 schools

The names of two new Marion County schools are official.
School board members unanimously approved the names of Ross Prairie Elementary and Winding Oaks Elementary Tuesday night.
Ross Prairie was named after the forest nearby, and Winding Oaks is in the community with the same name.
The two schools will open in the next school year.
