New names for Manatee County K-8 school proposed

Possible names for the New East County K-8 school have been announced in a school board meeting held on Tuesday, Oct 22.

The submissions were narrowed down to the following finalists:

• Frankie A. Howze
• Tim Kolbe
• Lake Manatee
• Liberty
