Sheriffee Humphrey

I am a school Principal serving a Title 1 K-8 public charter school. I have been committed to the field of education for 20 years and served as an educator in public school sector and subsequently an Administrator at a public charter school in the South Florida area. Moreover, I have worked in an Elementary and Middle school setting in addition to working in High School. I have dedicated my professional life to increase achievement in the lives of at-risk students in reading and in math. As an educator I have served as a Social Studies teacher as well as working in Adult Education serving GED, ESOL and co-enrolled students in Broward County. As a leader of a Title 1 school, I passionately believe that no matter the level a student is on that with solid instruction coupled with community support all children can learn and thrive in the greater society. In addition, providing teachers the appropriate instructional, social, and societal resources and tools they can create building blocks for children to enhance their school life. This connective support can translate into stronger and innovative communities.
