Professional Bio

I am a dedicated and passionate educational leader with over six years of experience as an assistant principal, currently in my third year serving the vibrant community at Eastside Elementary School. My journey in education began in the high school classroom, where I taught mathematics and coached football, laying a strong foundation for my future roles in instructional leadership.

Before transitioning into administration, I served as both a district mathematics coach and a district transition specialist, experiences that deepened my understanding of curriculum development, student support, and systemic improvement. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics Education from the University of South Florida (Class of 2011—Go Bulls!) and a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership from St. Leo University, earned in 2017.

I firmly believe that "a powerful mind can achieve anything through discipline, strength, confidence, and ambition," and I am committed to fostering this mindset in every student, colleague, and family I work with. It is a privilege to contribute to a culture of excellence, equity, and empowerment in education.
