Melissa Sohn

Classroom teacher for 32 years as well as serving as the student government advisor. Starting in 2015 serves as the Executive Director of the Florida Association of Student Councils (FASC) to create statewide initiatives and mentor student leaders across Florida. Regularly travels the country to deliver leadership training for both students and adult professionals, writes to publish articles highlighting the lifelong benefits of student leadership. Academic journey began at Troy University for undergraduate work and later earned both a master’s degree and a doctorate from the University of South Florida.
