Professional Bio

With nearly three decades of experience in education, Nancy has dedicated her career to supporting teachers, strengthening instructional practices, and improving student achievement across Florida schools and educational organizations. She currently serves as Director of Instructional Services for the Panhandle Area Educational Consortium, where she leads instructional improvement initiatives, collaborates with state education partners, and supports teacher preparation and induction programs across member districts.

Nancy earned a Specialist in Education in Educational Leadership and a Master of Education in Elementary Education from the University of Florida, along with a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education with a concentration in Gifted Education. She holds a Florida Professional Teaching Certificate in Elementary Education, Educational Leadership, Gifted Endorsement, and School Principal certification.

Throughout her career, she has served in a variety of impactful leadership and instructional roles, including principal, assistant principal, instructional technology coordinator, assistant professor of elementary education, dean of students, and classroom teacher. As Principal of Roulhac Middle School, she focused on instructional leadership, teacher development, and school improvement efforts designed to increase student success and teacher effectiveness.

Her dedication to educational excellence has been recognized through numerous honors, including being named Florida TaxWatch Principal of the Year for 2023-24. She is also a Brian Dassler Leadership Academy graduate and cohort facilitator and was recognized early in her career as Rookie Teacher of the Year for Marion County.

Passionate about empowering educators, Nancy believes that supporting teachers directly impacts student growth and achievement, and she remains committed to making it easier for educators to do the important work of helping students learn, grow, and succeed.
