Professional Bio

Dr. Rosalind Hall is a graduate of UF receiving her B.A. degree and Master’s in Education Administration, Doctorate of Educational Leadership from Nova Southeastern University graduating summa cum laude. Dr. Hall recently retired as Director of Exceptional Student Education (ESE) and Student Services of Levy County School District an educator for over 42 years which includes 15 years as a high school Exceptional Student Education teacher and an ESE supervisor in Alachua County; An administrator for over 25 years. During her years as a classroom teacher, she served as a mentor for over 10 years to new teachers entering this field. As an ESE and Student Services Director she served as a mentor to new ESE Directors in Florida, she served on several Boards including but not limited to National CEC, Florida Department of Education BEESE Advisory Boards and Committees, State Secondary Transition Interagency Board, State Personnel Development Grant (SPDG) Division on Career Development and Transition (DCDT), Facilitated IEP Advisory Committee, Florida Developmental Disabilities Council, Institute of Small and Rural Districts Advisory Board, Florida Teacher Certification Examination ESE K-12 Advisory Committee, University of Florida Special Education Advisory Board, Office of Special Education (OSEP) Leveraging Federal Funds Committee and served two (2) terms on the State Advisory Board appointed by the Commissioner of Education,
Dr. Hall received the Florida Council of Exceptional Children (FCEC) President's Award for four (4) consecutive years for her leadership, vision and support to students with disabilities and awarded the Outstanding Administrator of Special Education and service to Florida Council for Administrators for Special Education (CASE) and recently was awarded “Life Time Achievement Award, where she served as President and has served in this capacity for six (6) 2-year terms.
