With over 30 years of experience in education, Susan currently serves as a director state and regional partnerships as she engages with elected officials, state and district administrators, and other educational leaders to improve outcomes for students at all levels. Her mission focuses on building and maintaining positive partnerships to drive the successful implementation of evidence-based strategies that advance student achievement.
Susan is dedicated to supporting state and local leaders in enhancing instructional practices, with a particular emphasis on evidence aligned literacy instruction, Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS), and best practices in special education. Throughout her career, she has developed deep expertise in creating and executing frameworks that provide equitable, high-quality education for all students—including those with disabilities.
Having worked across the K-12 system with higher education institutions, and state education departments, Susan brings a comprehensive understanding of the educational landscape. Her experience spans roles as a special education teacher, district administrator, and state-level administrator, giving her a unique perspective on the challenges and opportunities in education.
