Professional Bio
Chad Rowell is a lifelong educator.
He is a proud University of West Florida Argonaut, where he served as Student Body President and Co-Chair of the Florida Student Association.
Chad began his teaching career at Jefferson County High School, Monticello, FL. It was then, that he began his education work at Florida State University, later completing his Master's Degree in the Science of Administration from the University of West Florida.
Chad has served as an English & Social Studies Teacher (& Coach) at Jefferson County, Gulf Breeze, and Pace High Schools, respectively. Having served as Assistant Principal for the past 12 years at Milton High School, Rowell has served as Student Services, Guidance leader, and now oversees Safety & Operations.
In both Monticello and Milton, FL, Rowell has served in various civic and community leadership roles with Kiwanis and the Santa Rosa Chamber of Commerce.
In 2017-18 Rowell was honored as the Santa Rosa County High School Assistant Principal of the year. But he is most proud of his accomplishments working with the disadvantaged and students with special needs. Throughout his career he has worked to create on-ramps for career and academic achievement for students who might otherwise have been left behind. His work has established many data-based successes paying human dividends for his students and communities.
Chad is married to Jessica Kilpatrick Rowell, and has two children.
