Professional Bio
I am a four-time gator from the University of Florida where in 2003, I earned a Bachelor of Science in telecommunication–production. In 2007, I earned a Master of Education in special education. In 2011, I earned a Specialist Degree in educational leadership, and finally, in 2021, I graduated with a Doctor of Education in educational leadership.
I started my career as a teacher at Eastside High School in Gainesville, Florida where I also served as a team leader and Activities Director for the Eastside Rams, Other professional experiences include serving as a teacher specialist–district mentor coach for beginning teachers where I worked with over 60 beginning teachers in a three-year span. I have held administrative positions at P.K. Yonge Developmental Research School at the University of Florida as the Assistant Principal of Academic Advisement and School Counseling while supervising the Exceptional Student Education and Admissions departments and an Assistant Principal of Curriculum at Santa Fe High School. I was appointed to my first principalship at Archer Elementary School where I served as principal for three and a half years before becoming a district supervisor. Today, I am a district supervisor for teacher learning resources and instructional materials in Alachua County.
