Get Involved With FASA - Become a District Liaison!

Posted By: Geoff Willoughby Leader 2 Leader Blog,

Are you a FASA member who would like to get more involved, but you are afraid you don’t have the time to serve in a board position? We have a great solution for you! You can sign up to be a FASA District Liaison. What is a District Liaison? Well, it is the way for you to share your passion for FASA with other school leaders around the state.

FASA already has a strong network of school administrators who lead the future of education. However, there are still a lot of leaders who are not familiar with FASA or have not taken the next step to get involved. As a District Liaison, you can be the person to help current and aspiring administrators across Florida to help FASA become even stronger.

Here are some things District Liaisons do:

  • Serve as the primary district liaison between FASA and district staff.
  • Be able to communicate with colleagues about FASA membership benefits.
  • Share updated information on state and federal policies.
  • Communicate with leadership at the district level regarding FASA initiatives.
  • Disseminate FASA professional learning opportunities and encourage colleagues to attend.
  • Set up gatherings for administrators to build a growing network of leaders.
